John earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland. He joined Rowe Architects in 2017.

John has experience working on technically demanding projects across the commercial, educational, and public safety sectors, with work spanning a wide range of project scales and budgets. His role often extends from master planning and programming through design and full construction administration, and he values close collaboration with clients throughout the process.

John also brings a strong interest in historic preservation, including his work on the multi-phase renovation of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company headquarters in Ybor City, Florida, located within the National Historic Landmark District. On this complex project, John helped guide the transformation of a century-old cigar factory into modern, functional spaces, working closely with the client to translate vision into a revitalized workplace, public gathering spaces, and a renewed company culture.
